Trello's kanban-style boards make it easy to visualize any workflow. This tutorial shows you how to get started with Trello and add time tracking via the Everhour Power-Up.
Boards, lists & cards
A Trello Board represents a project or workflow. Lists inside the board represent stages (e.g. To Do, In Progress, Done). Cards are individual tasks that move across lists as work progresses. Each card can have a description, attachments, members, due dates, and labels.
Collaboration features
Add members to cards to assign work, use @mentions in comments to notify teammates, and use checklists inside cards to track sub-tasks. Power-Ups extend Trello with additional features like calendars and custom fields.
Time tracking in Trello with Everhour
Install the Everhour browser extension and connect Trello from the Integrations page.
Timer buttons and estimate fields appear on every Trello card. Track time directly on cards, view total time in the board header, and compare actuals to estimates without ever leaving Trello.
Reports
Use Everhour's report builder to filter by Trello board, list, label, or assignee. Generate client-ready reports and invoices from tracked time.
